Government Announcement expected today
February 13th, 2014Following last year’s review by Sir Bruce Keogh, a Government statement is expected later today promising tighter regulation of cosmetic surgery and non-surgical aesthetic procedures, such as Botox and dermal
fillers. Full details will not be available until the announcement is made. However, we expect legislation to be proposed to ensure that in future only Doctors, Dentists and Nurses will be allowed to administer these treatments. We also expect that dermal fillers will become a POM for the first time. Please check here for updates once the Government proposals are made public.
